Job Description

Fast growing, well established Orthopedic Office looking for a responsible, honest, hard working collector that can process outstanding accounts receivable dollars (managed care, governmental, commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid, etc.) and all other aspects of collections, including but not limited to resolving patient and insurance billing problems, appropriately documenting all attempts to secure payment, working AR denials and appeals. Knowledge of office visits, injections, outpatient surgical procedures, and other elective procedures regarding spine and orthopedics specialty is strongly preferred.

Applicants must have 2-3 years' Medical Collections experience in a hospital or physicians office setting and a working knowledge with CPT and ICD-10 coding. Associate’s degree and/or coding certification preferred. Working knowledge/experience with Greenway Primesuite software is strongly preferred.

Applicant must have the ability to multi-task with ease and accuracy, work in a fast-paced environment, have strong communication skills, and a high work ethic.
